Do you know God designed every part of us? Our thoughts, our feelings, and our will. The three work together; sometimes they work well together but there are some other times when it becomes a challenge to get them to align.
These areas of our soul are very well connected and it can be difficult to separate the way we think, the way we feel, and the way we react.
Our behavior is determined by the way we think and feel.
You might have heard that choosing positive thoughts can help us to remain calmer and more constructive. They lead us to emotional health and growth.
Choosing positive thoughts can help us to get through our day at work or home, Why? Because we can feel more confident that with a positive mentality, we can handle things with more grace.
The state of our soul will determine the trajectory of our lives.
Do you know that the state of our soul is affected by how we spend our time?
Ask yourself this question.
Am I using my time wisely?
By evaluating ourselves we can distinguish if we are using our time in a good manner. How are we feeding up our soul? Are we spending excessive hours in activities that drain us? How can we control our negativity or our mental arguments?
I love this passage of the Bible which it states:
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:5
What is to take captive every thought? Every negative thought that is not aligned with the word of God must be captive. We cage that negative thought; in other words, we do not give free will to that thought otherwise we will end up with a negative and chaotic mentality. Try to think positive and captive every thought and make it obedient to God’s word. God’s will is always good, pleasing, and perfect for us. And remember this:
God’s truth was designed for us to flourish!
