I Tested Positive

A time ago, I tested positive, and honestly, I wasn’t surprised about the results since I had the symptoms. Chills, fatigue, temperature, cough, headaches, nausea, my eyes hurt, shortness of breath, and loss of taste.
This virus is so tricky because at the beginning you might relate it to something else like sore throat, allergies, sinus, stomach ache, cold, or an old illness. The day before my first temperature, I had some wine glasses, and since I don’t usually drink I woke up the following morning with a feeling of a hangover. I felt horrible, I thought that was the cause of my first symptoms like fatigue and headaches.

I don’t know if you have had tested positive but you have to have some symptoms to realize that there is a high possibility you got COVID.
If you don’t experience any symptoms, you think you don’t have it at all.

Was I Scared? Worried? Preoccupied? YES.
I remembered the first day I got a temperature, it hit me while I was asleep. The temperature raised to the extent that I was so weak and couldn’t get up, and unconsciously while I was asleep I started praying and confessing myself before the Lord. My husband noticed something wrong with me and gave me medicine.
The next day I couldn’t even talk and get up. I desperately wanted to be tested and there were no appointments available in town until the next week.

On day 3, I felt so bad that I asked the Lord, Why? Because I couldn’t understand. I took all the precautions, all the measures, I also sacrificed so many social events, family events, church events, and followed the state rules; I masked up all the time and used gloves. I felt it was no fair for me nor my family. I asked myself what did I do wrong?
When you are in a stage of desperation, frustration, and can’t think right, it’s normal to create questions that make no sense.

Everything was put on hold. I had to cancel my appointments and I was so anxious because my clients pay in advance for their appointments.
Note: I’m so grateful to my clients because after contacting them, all wanted to wait for me.

Life might not be fair but the Lord, The Lord is merciful.

I rested a lot, slept like 12 hrs., did home old remedies, home healthy meals, supplements, vitamins, acetaminophen, antibiotics, hot teas, and lots of prayers.
I’m forever thankful for my husband because he had it rough with me.

During my recovering an uncle that I love so much passed away from COVID. It was so unexpected and unpredictable. Moments when you experienced many feelings at the same time. This loss hit me tremendously. A person who had the ability to make me laugh until my jaw sore. Now, he is gone. How could it be? It happened so fast. I just wanted to stop the time to reflect, process, and understand.

Do not allow the COVID to mess up with your mind, it is also a mental battle.

During these difficult times hold tight in the Lord.

If we are faithless,
he remains faithful,
for he cannot disown himself. (2 Timothy 2:13)
For we live by faith,
not by sight.
(2 Corinthians 5:7)
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
(Romans 15:13)
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them,
for it is the Lord your God who goes with you.
He will not leave you or forsake you.”
(Deuteronomy 31:6)
